Arthur Hayes, co-founder and former CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX, has once again shared his insights on the crypto market, particularly focusing on Bitcoin. Hayes offered significant commentary on the future of the market in a recent blog post.
In his post, Hayes stated that the much-anticipated “altcoin season” will not return until Bitcoin surpasses $70,000, and Ethereum exceeds $4,000.
He also predicted that Solana (SOL) would rise above $250. With the introduction of U.S. dollar liquidity, Hayes forecasts that cryptocurrencies will break out of their downward trajectory starting in September.
At the beginning of 2023, many commentators around the world speculated that the popularity of cryptocurrencies might be over. However, in January 2024, the approval of a Bitcoin spot ETF triggered a new wave of activity, culminating in Bitcoin reaching its all-time high in March.
Following this, a downward trend began again, with Bitcoin’s price recently falling to $48,800. Nevertheless, market participants’ confidence in 2024 and 2025 seems to remain strong. In this context, Arthur Hayes continues to be a prominent figure in the world of cryptocurrencies.
